The speakers at the 2002 Retreat were Peter and Margot Hausmann. Peter was newly appointed as the Associate Pastor at Blacknall and graciously agreed to a “baptism by fire”. It was a great time to get to know the Hausmanns.
The theme for the weekend was, “The Servant King.”
“Blacknall Church is founded on Jesus Christ. We are built on the ministries of faithful men and women who consciously chose to be ‘for’ others in life, witness, and service of that same Jesus. We will look at John 13 and Philippians 2 as refreshers in God’s continual call to build lives of service in, through, and by the King who came not to be served, but to serve.”
