The theme for the retreat weekend was “Get a Life: Living and Leading in the Kingdom of Jesus”, discussions based on the Gospel of Matthew.
“The world pulls us into a mentality that some think will lead to life. But Jesus came to give us the real means to life: a new system of values and rewards, a new definition of success and new criteria for measuring it, and a radically new model of fulfillment. Real life starts with Jesus, includes Jesus 24/7, and employs His ways in living and leading.
We will center our discussions in the Gospel of Matthew, looking at various parts of the Sermon on the Mount and how that motivates and encourages us in this Life in the Kingdom.”
